Ladies, I don’t know about you, but I have come against so many distractions this year. At the end of 2022, God was showing me some pretty amazing things that He wanted me to do this year. I was super excited about all that God was going to do…and then January 1st came, and wow did the enemy really ramp up his plan to distract me! I mean, literally from the very first day of January, the enemy has been trying his best to stop me from stepping into all that God has for my life. And I know I’m not the only one. I talk to so many of you telling me the same thing. That distractions this year have been unreal.
Whether it be family challenges, social media, our phones or even school…it seems like so many of us are facing more distractions this year than we have in the past.
But did you know that there is a reason for that? Did you know that it’s part of the enemy’s plan for our lives to distract us. The thing about the devil is this…the more we focus on growing in our relationship with God or doing what it is that God is calling us to do, the more the enemy is going to throw distractions our way.
