Lie #4-The World Would Be Better Off Without Me

 Oh girl, if you have ever thought this…I just want you to know that you are so valuable! God placed you in this world on purpose. He has a plan for your life that’s bigger than we can even imagine. 

The reason many teen girls struggle with this is because the enemy wants nothing more than to take you out. 

This is a lie because there is no truth in it at all! The world is better because you are here. 

You are so loved by God!

You are accepted by God, chosen by God, and adopted into His family. 

I talked about this a couple weeks ago, but I’m going to bring it up again…suicide is the 2ndleading cause of death in teens today. On average, 3.703 middle schoolers and high schoolers have made an attempt to take their lives. 

There are several reasons that we are seeing this, but among those reasons are the lie that we are going to talk about today: “the world would be better off without me.”

Maybe it’s that teens have had a rough life. They have been hurt and they feel like they messed up somewhere. Or maybe they just don’t think they can take the pain and hurt anymore…this was me as an 8 year old. Maybe it seems like the world is going to get worse and it’s scary. There are so many reasons why teens can feel this way, but there is hope. 

If this is you, don’t give up! You are so valuable! We need you here on this earth! God has a plan for your life that is so much bigger than you realize.
