31. Interview with Ashli: Keeping a Strong Relationship with God Through School Part 2

Today, we have a very special guest, Ashli Townsend! 

Ashli lives outside of Nashville, TN and was actually a student in our youth ministry. I met Ashli and her family when she was 2 years old and it has been such an honor to get to see her grow in her walk in the Lord and trust Him with her life. Ashli started youth ministry in 6th grade and graduated high school last summer. I have watched Ashli go from super shy…to…as she began to really understand her identity in Christ, to a key leader within our youth ministry. 

All right, so a couple weeks ago, I received an email from one of you beautiful girls listening in to this podcast. In this email, it said, “I am going to high school this September and was wondering if you had advice for me to stay and have a good and healthy relationship with Christ by the end of it? How do I make friends that would respect me and my beliefs, how do I stay away from peer pressure or how to deal with it?” 

I thought that these questions were such great questions, that I wanted to give you some perspective from a teen girl just like you who recently graduated from high school. This is where Ashli comes in!
