All right, so on this week’s episode, I am doing something a little different. I have had several emails lately from you beautiful ladies asking me pretty much the same question. I thought that if several of you are emailing me about the same thing, then there are definitely a lot more of you who have the same question as well.
For those of you who are in public schools, or private schools, or even some of you who are homeschooled and are a part of a co-op or a tutorial…most of you are probably aware that the season for dances is going strong. We have middle school dances. We have the homecoming dances, the court-warming dances, winter galas, and don’t even get me started on proms and the promposals!
A lot of times, if we aren’t careful, when we have these dances coming up in the calendar…we can begin to look around and think to ourselves…
What if nobody asks me to go? Or it seems like all of my friends have a date, except for me, what should I do? Or my friends are making fun of me for not having a date, should I even go?
There are all of these fears that go through out mind…and if we’re not careful, it can make us feel like we are ugly, that we aren’t good enough, that we’re not likeable, that there must be something wrong with us.
First, that cannot be further from the truth! You are beautiful because God designed you and He doesn’t make mistakes. You are beautiful, because you have Him, the creator of the Universe on the inside of you! Second, you don’t need a guy or anyone else to know that you are more than good enough! You are incredible just the way you are.
